Spicy braised jokbal and bean sprout gamjatang at Halmae Jip, a Michelin-listed Seochon old-timer

Self-paid. The blogger paid for this visit.

A tiny, homey old restaurant in an alley by Gyeongbokgung Station, listed in the Michelin Guide Seoul 2026. Only two dishes: spicy seasoned jokbal so tender it falls apart, and gamjatang buried under bean sprouts and chives.

콩나물과 부추 덕분에 국물이 굉장히 깔끔하면서도 깊은 맛을 냈고

Thanks to the bean sprouts and chives, the broth was very clean yet deep.
