Cafe 카페Seochon 서촌

A latte worth the detour in a plant-filled Seochon corner cafe

Self-paid. The blogger paid for this visit.

A small specialty coffee shop in Seochon, open since 2017 and best known for its latte. Warm wood, lots of plants and big windows make it an easy stop on a walk around the neighborhood.

우유 맛에 커피가 묻히는 스타일이 아니라 부드러우면서도 커피의 맛이 중심을 잘 잡아주는 라떼였어요.

The milk doesn't bury the coffee. It's smooth, but the espresso holds the center.

Is it for you?

Go forThe latte. You choose from three beans, and the nutty one tastes like roasted nuts and stays clean at the end. The banana bread is moist, dense and not too sweet, a good match for the latte. The room feels lived in, with old wooden furniture, plants and books.
Skip ifYou want a wide choice of desserts or a big place to settle in. There are only a few baked goods, the seats fill quickly, and it is one drink per person.

Good to know

  • Ask which of the three beans you want for your latte. The nutty roast suits milk.
  • Order one menu item per person. The menu says so in English.
  • The menu has English and Japanese.
  • Desserts are limited, so pick up the banana bread early.
  • Dogs are welcome.
