이게 정말 두부 맞나 싶더라구요

Is this really tofu? Hard to believe.

Is it for you?

Go forThe black tofu steak with truffled white asparagus was the surprise of the meal. The dried yellow corvina is eaten the traditional way, over rice in cold green tea. The galbi steak with 15-year aged soy sauce comes tender with whole roasted garlic, and the seafood bouillabaisse has a clean, light broth. Service was very warm.
Skip ifYou want big portions. Main dishes are small, so order one per person rather than sharing. Dessert was just okay.

Good to know

  • Search for "Hotel 28", not Kongdu, on your map app. The entrance is around the side alley.
  • Book ahead on Naver. The blogger's group booked the day before and the restaurant moved their time by phone without fuss.
  • Each person picks a main. If you want to share, tell staff and they bring extra plates.
  • Lunch break: last order 13:00 on Sundays, and the restaurant closes 14:30 to 18:00 on other days.
  • Try a bottle of makgeolli. The peach one tastes light, almost like yogurt.
