Takt Jongno is a newly opened women-only capsule hotel on a second floor between Jongno 3-ga and Euljiro 3-ga Stations. It has self check-in, private shower stalls, free towels and toiletries, and a luggage room you can use any time, a two-minute walk from Cheonggyecheon.

Is it for you?

Go forTake as many towels as you need, plus toothbrushes, skincare and cleansers, so you can pack light. There is a washing machine with free detergent, a microwave, an ice water dispenser and a luggage room open around the clock.

Skip ifYou need an elevator or a comfy pillow. It is a walk-up second floor, Chiyoi found the pillow too high and slightly musty, and the air conditioning runs cold.

Good to know

Check-in 15:00, check-out 11:00. The kiosk scans your passport or ID; guests under 18 are not allowed.
Your key card has no capsule number on it, so take a photo of the number.
Leave luggage in the storage room next door before check-in or after check-out.
Take your shoes off at the ladder and keep bags in your locker; the capsule is tight.
Cups are stainless steel only, so bring a tumbler. Pack a cardigan for the air conditioning.
