Is it for you?

Go forThe noodles are made with Bongpyeong buckwheat and salt, nothing much else. They are nutty, with a nice mix of crumbly and chewy. The house dipping sauce is rich and slightly sweet with bonito flavor, and grated radish, mustard and green onion let you adjust it. The plate looks small, but there is a second layer of noodles underneath. The house-made pickled radish is rough-cut, cool and different from regular danmuji.
Skip ifYou want a slow, sit-down meal. It is a fast noodle shop with a line at lunch.

Good to know

  • Order and pay at the counter first, then take a seat. If you sit upstairs, order on the 2nd floor.
  • Try the noodles plain first, then add mustard and green onion to the sauce bit by bit.
  • Seats turn over fast. The line got longer after the blogger finished, so go right at 11:00.
  • Last order 19:00. Parking is difficult.
  • Deoksugung Palace is a short walk away for after lunch.
